| The following pictures show existing conditions of drainage Swail & pond prior to dredging & regrading for new drainage Swail. The new Swail were cut into the embankment relined with Geo Textile fiber on which steel galvanized reno mattress were placed. Each individual Reno Mattress measured 6'x12' x1' & were filled with irregular 4" to 8" Gabon stones. Upon the placement of the stone all Reno Mattress were capped & pneumatically sealed to prevent future wash outs. When completed an overall combined measurement for swail # 1 & 2 was 18'-0" x 750'-0" was achieved. The ponds shown were drained & dredged of cat tails & sediment.. All areas were regraded and seeded and inspected by the State of New York Environmental Conservation Dept. |
